In today's manufacturing industry, a three-dimensional (3-D) solid model-based digital design in which different technologies are combined depending on the developments in materials, engineering software and laser technology, and a useful engineering piece can be manufactured from polymer, metal and ceramic-based materials with layer by layer. has met a method. This method has entered the literature as "additive manufacturing" and today it has become possible to manufacture prototypes and / or useful engineering parts of special and complex geometry parts, especially in the medical, automotive, aerospace, computer and home appliance sectors. In this study, by evaluating the studies conducted in the field of modern manufacturing science, the point reached in 3-D additive manufacturing, additive manufacturing methods and application areas were investigated and it was tried to give useful information to the manufacturing sector in our country.
